Complex sentence-এ একটি Principal clause এবং এক বা একাধিক Subordinate clause থাকে যা who, which, that, if, as, though ইত্যাদি দ্বারা যুক্ত হয়।
- Simple sentence-এ Noun-এর পূর্বে Adjective (industrious) থাকলে Complex করার সময় উক্ত Noun-এর পর একটি Relative Pronoun (who/which/that) বসিয়ে Subordinate clause তৈরি করতে হয়।
- সে অনুযায়ী 'An industrious boy'-এর পরিবর্তে 'The boy who is industrious' বসবে।
