male engineering student = 25*120/100 = 30

female engineering student = 20*100/100 = 20

total engineering student = 30 + 20 = 50

now,

male engineering students that passed = 20*30/100 = 6

female engineering students that passed = 25*20/100 = 5

total students that passed = 6 + 5 = 11

now,

percentage of engineering students that passed the exam = 11*100/50 = 22%
