A group of kittens went on sale and 2/3 of theme were sold for Tk. 30 each. If none of the 36 remaining kittens were sold, what was the total amount (Tk.) received for the kittens that were sold?

If the amount of kittens is 1, then remaining amount of kitten unsold is = 1 - 2/3 = (3-2)/3 = 1/3

Now,

Remaining amount of kittens is 1/3, when total amount of kittens is 1

Remaining amount of kittens is 36, when total amount of kittens is 1*36*3 = 108

Kittens sold = 108 -36 = 72

Total amount received = (72*2.30) tk

                                    = 165.6 tk
