Correct Answer: Option B
Perimeter of the rectangle =2(18 + 26)
= 88 cm
∴ Circumference of circle = 88 cm
⇒ 2πr = 88
⇒ r = 88/2π
⇒ r = (88 × 7)/(2 × 22)
∴ r = 14 cm
∴ Area of circle = πr2
= (22/7) × (14)2
= 616 sq. cm
= 88 cm
∴ Circumference of circle = 88 cm
⇒ 2πr = 88
⇒ r = 88/2π
⇒ r = (88 × 7)/(2 × 22)
∴ r = 14 cm
∴ Area of circle = πr2
= (22/7) × (14)2
= 616 sq. cm
