In a business, A and C invested amounts in the ratio 2:1, whereas the ratio between amounts invested by A and B was 3: If Tk. 1,57,300 was their profit, how much amount did B receive?

A    Tk. 24,200

B    Tk. 36,300

C    Tk. 48,400

D    Tk. 72,600

Solution

Correct Answer: Option C

Here,

A:B = 3:2 = 6:4  A:C = 2:1 = 6:3

 A:B:C = 6:4:3

B's Share = (B's ratio/Sum of ratio's) X total profit

B share = (4/13)*157300 = 48400 Taka
