Mr. A is 5 years senior to Mr. B, Mr. B is 3 years senior to Mr. C, Mr. C is 2 years junior to Mr. D in job experience. If Mr. D has 15 years job experience then how many years of experience possessing Mr. A?

A    18

B    19

C    20

D    21

Solution

Correct Answer: Option D

Mr. B is 3 years senior to Mr. C, Mr. C is 2 years junior to Mr. D in job experience.

Thus, Mr. B is 1 year senior  to Mr. D

Now, If, Job Experience of Mr. D is x

Then,

Mr. B = x+1

And, Mr. A = x + 1 + 5

or, Mr. A = x + 6

Now, we know that, x = 15 years

Thus,

Job experience of Mr. A = 15 + 6 = 21 years
