ধরি, আসল = P টাকা।

৪ বছরের সুদ = (P×5×4)/100

= P/5 টাকা।

বা, P + P/5 = 504
বা, 6P/5 = 504
বা, 6P = 504×5
বা, 6P = 2520
বা, P = 2520/6
বা, ​P = 420 টাকা।
সুতরাং, আসল = ৪২০ টাকা।

আবার, আসল ৪২০ টাকা, সুদের হার ১০% এবং সময় ২.৫ বছর ।

সুদ = (P×R×T)/100
= (420×10×2.5)/100
= 21000/200
= 105

সুতরাং, সুদে আসলে হবে = আসল + সুদ = ৪২০ টাকা + ১০৫ টাকা = ৫২৫ টাকা।
