The monthly incomes of two persons are in the ratio 4 : 5 and their monthly expenditures are in the ratio of 7 : 9. If each saves BDT 50 per month, find their monthly income.

মনে করি,
১ম লোকটির মাসিক আয় = 4x
এবং, ২য় লোকটির মাসিক আয় = 5x
আবার, ১ম লোকটির মাসিক খরচ = 7y
এবং, ২য় লোকটির মাসিক খরচ = 9y
প্রশ্নমতে, 4x-7y =50 .......(i)
এবং, 5x-9y = 50 ..........(ii)
(i) ⇒
-7y = -4x +50
⇒-7y = -(4x - 50)
⇒y = (4x-50)/7
∴ (ii) ⇒
5x-9.{(4x-50)/7} = 50
⇒35x-36x +450 = 350
⇒ -x = -100
⇒ x = 100
∴ ১ম লোকটির আয় = 4 × 100 = 400 টাকা
∴ ২য় লোকটির আয় = 5 × 100 = 500 টাকা
