If 4 (A's capital) = 6 (B's capital) = 10 (C's capital), then out of a profit of Tk. 4650, C will receive:

A Tk. 465

B Tk. 900

C Tk. 1550

D Tk. 2250

Solution

Correct Answer: Option B

4 (A's capital) = 6 (B's capital)
⇒ B's capital = (4/6) A's capital) = (2/3) A's capital

6 (B's capital) = 10 (C's capital)
⇒ C's capital = (6/10) B's capital = (3/5) (2/3) A's capital = (2/5) A's capital

Ratio = A's capital : (2/3) A's capital : (2/5) A's capital
        = 1 : (2/3) : (2/5)
        = 15 : 10 : 6

C will receive = 6 × 4650/(15 + 6 + 10)
                    = 900 taka
