In a TV factory, an average of 65 TVs are produced per day for the first 20 days of the month. A few workers fell ill for the next ten days, reducing the daily average for the month to 56 sets per day. The average production per day for the last 10 days is :
Correct Answer: Option B
Number of T.V sets produced for 1st 20 days = 65 × 20 = 1300
Total number of T.V sets produced in that month = 56 × 30 = 1680
Therefore, number of T.V sets produced in last 10 days = 1680 – 1300 = 380
Since, average production per day for last 10 days = no. of T.V sets produced/no. of days
= 380/10 = 38.
