(1) => a + b = x => a = x - b .. (3)
(2) নং সমীকরণে a এর মান বসাই,
y = a + 2b = x - b + 2b = x + b b = y - x
এখন b এর মানো (3) নং সমীকরণে বসাই,
a = x - b = x - y + x = 2x - y
প্রদত্ত রাশিমালা = a - b
= 2x - y - (y - x)
= 2x - y - y + x
= 3x - 2y
