Aref told us that he had waited an hour - বাক্যের direct speech হবে -

- Indirect থেকে Direct speech এ রূপান্তরের সময় told এর পরিবর্তে said to বসেছে that উঠে গেছে এর পরিবর্তে Inverted comma বসেছে ও indirect past perfect থাকায় direct speech এ past indefinite Tense হয়েছে।
- তবে Indirect speech এ past perfect থাকলে,  Direct speech এ past indefinite /present perfect tense দুটোই হতে পারে। সে হিসেবে খ ও ঘ দুটোই সঠিক
