let, the numbers are x, y, z
x + y = 2 × 2 = 4
y + z = 2 × 3 = 6
z + x = 2 × 4 = 8
2 (x + y + z) = 4 + 6 + 8 = 18
⇒ (x + y + z) = 9
∴ the average of three numbers is = 9/3 = 3
x + y = 2 × 2 = 4
y + z = 2 × 3 = 6
z + x = 2 × 4 = 8
2 (x + y + z) = 4 + 6 + 8 = 18
⇒ (x + y + z) = 9
∴ the average of three numbers is = 9/3 = 3
