Find the share of ‘C’ in a profit of Rs. 4650 which is divided among three people ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ as:

4 (A’s share) = 6 (B’s share) = 10 (C’s share).

A 465

B 900

C 1550

D 2250

E None of these

Solution

Correct Answer: Option B

Let, 4 A = 6 B = 10 C = K

\(\therefore A = \frac{K}{4},B = \frac{K}{6},C = \frac{K}{{10}}\)

∴ A:B:C \(= \frac{K}{4}:\frac{K}{6}:\frac{K}{{10}} = 15:10:6\)

So, C’s share \(= (4650×6/31)=Rs 900\)
