Correct Answer: Option B

Let, father’s current age is A years.
Then, Man’s current age =  \(\left[\left(\frac25\times A\right)\right]\) years

\(\left[\left(\frac25\times A\right)\right]\) +8 =\(\left(\frac12\right)\left(A+8\right)\)

2(2A+40) = 5(A+8)

A = 40
