Correct Answer: Option C

∵ MP of one dozen pairs of socks = Rs. 80

∴ SP of one dozen of pairs of sock

\(= \frac{{80 \times \left( {100 - 10} \right)}}{{100}} = \frac{{80 \times 90}}{{100}} = Rs.72\)

Hence, required number of pairs of socks purchased for Rs. 24

\(= \frac{{12 \times 24}}{{72}} = 4\)

Hence, the required number of pair of socks is 4,
