মনে করি, মোট = x
∴ Male = 3x/8

rejected applicants = (3/4)× x
=3x/4
rejected male applicants = (2/3) × (3x/8)

rejected female applicants = (3x/4) - (x/4)
=(3x-x)/4
=2x/4

after first round remaining male = (3x/8) - (x/4)
=x/8
after first round remaining female = 5x/8-x/2
