In a class there are 15 students starting from roll number 1 to 15. If you randomly pick 2 students, what is the probability that roll number of both students will be odd ?

A   \(\frac{8}{{15}}\)

B   \(\frac{3}{5}\)

C   \(\frac{4}{{15}}\)

D \(\frac{2}{5}\)

Solution

Correct Answer: Option C

Total odd roll is 8, so first students probability is = \(\frac{8}{{15}}\)   2nd students probability = \(\frac{7}{{14}}\)

so Final probability \(\frac{8}{{15}} \times \frac{7}{{14}} = \frac{4}{{15}}\)
